Cairo tour

One day coach tour from Sharm el Sheikh to the capital city of Egypt is a budget trip for those who love to see and discover the world known Pharaonic sites on a quick tour. The Great Pyramid of Cheops, smaller pyramid of Khefren and the smallest pyramid of Minkaura are waiting for you. Great Sphinx and its valley temple, Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and the Nile boat ride will be covered in the tour.

On the way to Cairo

We do pick up from any hotel in Sharm el Sheikh. Pick up from your hotel in the early morning and transfer by a/c bus to Cairo. The journey to Cairo will take up to 6 hours. There will be 2 stops on the way to go to toilet and to get breakfast in a cafeteria. We will arrive in Cairo by 9 am.

National Egyptian museum visit

Our day we will start with Egyptian Museum of Antiquities visit, simply called The National Egyptian Museum. It is situated on Tahrir square and became already a historical monument itself. Built more than 100 years ago by a French architect, it houses the world's largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities, and many treasures of King Tutankhamen. 120 000 pieces are exhibited there and we will visit all those collections, including Old kingdom, Middle kingdom, New kingdom and king Tut Anch Amun collection. We will spend around 2,5 hours in the museum.

Nile felucca ride & lunch

After the museum you can optionally take 45 minutes Nile boat ride (10£ per person). We will enjoy with the sailing along the Nile, warm breeze and panoramic views of the city.

Lunch will be offered in a local restaurant on open buffet basis. Drinks are not included.

The Pyramids & Sphinx visit

After lunch we will cross the Nile and continue our tour in Giza. One of the Seven Wonders of the World the great pyramid of Cheops is waiting for us! We will visit other pyramids of the area as well: the pyramid of Chephren and the pyramid of Mycerinus. At the end of the tour Sphinx and its valley temple will be visited.

There will be an opportunity for shopping in the area around the Pyramids. Visit of papyrus institute, perfume palace or cotton fabric will be available.

Back to Sharm el Sheikh

At the end of the day we will start our way back to Sharm el Sheikh. Our rep will meet you in Sharm el Sheikh upon arrival and drive back to your hotel.
