Full day tour to East and West banks of Luxor to explore ancient monuments, tombs and temple. Hatshepsut temple at Deir el-Bahari, Karnak and Luxor temples on the East bank, beautiful Medinet Habu and Ramesseum on the West bank. Unique valleys of the queens, kings and nobles.

Is Luxor worth the trip?

Luxor is one of the world's richest places in historical monuments and archeological sites. You can not skip a full day tour to East and West banks of Luxor if you are holidaying in Egypt. Luxor worth at least a day trip from your location to get an idea of ancient Pharaonic architecture, life and art.

Can you do Luxor in a day?

You can do Luxor in a one day tour but it will cover only the highlights of the city. In a day tour you can visit two main attractions of the east bank - Karnak and Luxor Temple, do a short walk along the Sphinx Avenue and visit one of the museums that Luxor has to offer. On the West bank you should not miss Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut mortuary temple and Colossi of Memnon - old and new.

How far is East bank from the west bank?

The West bank of Luxor seems quite close if you cross it via Nile by boat, it takes not more than 15 minutes. If you take a car to the west bank than it will be longer, almost 45 minutes to reach the first archeological site available on the West bank in spite of a new very good newly built road. The distance from the East bank of the Nile in Luxor to the West bank where the majority of the archeological sites and Luxor attractions are situated is approximately 35 km.
