Our half day Fayoum bird watching tour from Cairo we will start in the very early morning as it is best to watch birds in the early morning when they are the most active.
Our car will pick up you from your hotel in Cairo at 4 am. The time may vary depending on the season you go: it can be earlier or later, so we let you reach the locations at the most suitable time to have enough time for observing birds when they just wake up.
We arrive to Fayoum by 6 am. The distance between Cairo and Fayoum oasis is just 100 km, but we will not go to the capital city of the oasis to watch our amazing creatures, we will go directly to Qarun Lake Nature Reserve where we will explore 2 great location and spot some common residents of the lake. If we are lucky enough we will even spot some uncommon residents of the area.
Our tour takes up to 4 hours. So after 10 o'clock when sun already up and warm we will leave Qarun lake and go to Tunis village to get breakfast and share our experiences, to review the birds we have just seen and may be plan for another day out to watch even more birds in another location in Fayoum.
