Most cruise ships arrive at Alexandria port at 6 am and depart at 8 pm, leaving plenty of time for a day trip to Cairo to see the pyramids. Please note that time spent in port may be limited. Our excursion to the pyramids of Saqqara and Giza from the port of Alexandria in Egypt will begin with a visit to the Giza plateau. Here we will get acquainted with The Great Pyramid of Giza and the Great Sphinx. We'll take stunning photos from the panoramic platform and can try Camel riding at the pyramids (optional, paid separately).

After our sightseeing tour, we will have lunch at a local restaurant and head to Saqqara, where not only the Step pyramid of King Djoser awaits us, but also the amazing Saqqara tombs. We will visit several tombs (2-3 open to access). Let's take a look at the Pyramid of Teti and the Pyramid of Unas (separate ticket required after 12). Additionally, you can visit the mysterious Serapeum of Saqqara - underground catacombs in which sacred bulls, revered by the Egyptians as incarnations of the god Apis, were buried. The main architectural element of the Serapeum at Saqqara are the underground tombs, where bulls were buried in huge granite sarcophagi.

After the tour, transfer back to the port of Alexandria to your cruise ship. Return by 6 pm.
