Day trip to Salama red canyon, also known as a Red Canyon will start in the morning with a pick up from the hotels in Sharm El Sheikh by a modern air conditioned minibus. The Transfer to Salama canyon may take an hour or more since there will be a convoy accompanying the group. The distance from Sharm El Sheikh city and Salama canyon is about 142 KM.

Walk through Salama Canyon

We arrive to Wadi Gazhala area to swap our van to a 4x4 jeep and take 10 minutes ride to our destination. Salama canyon is a cute place that starts as a crack in a rocky area of otherwise sandy Wadi Ghazala. It gets deeper a little down, and the hike involves a bit of scrambling. The lower part of the short canyon is wider, and it connects to the bigger Wadi Disco where there is a tiny Bedouin settlement.

Walk along Salama canyon may take from 30 to 45 minutes. At the end of the track we will get into our jeep and come back to the van to continue our trip to Dahab city.

Snorkeling in Dahab

Dahab is one of the tourist area characterized by a charming and unique nature, where the golden sands and mountainous are mixed with the Red Sea shore. This unique nature has made it a home for many rare reptiles, animals and plants, in addition to the underwater magic represented by the colorful coral formations decorated with bright fish.

Here we’ll get an opportunity to stop at a beach where we can swim, snorkel and get lunch at a Bedouins’ tent. Drinks are paid separately. Optionally you can take a quad biking tour or ride a camel along a shore.
