Let’s start our tour in the morning to catch the most delicious and freshly baked sweets, oriental desserts, buns and pies cooked in Cairo bakeries.

Our guide will pick up you from your Cairo hotel and let’s move to a very famous shop of Oriental sweets known as Queder. Here we will have our breakfast with a cup of hot cocoa or Turkish coffee you can taste the most famous Egyptian desserts such as “Om Alli”, “baspusa bel eshta” or “kunafa with cream”. Let’s enjoy our oriental morning in the middle of Cairo.

After our breakfast let’s move to Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and spend some hours there exploring the collections of the museum, visiting king Tut hall, animal mummy’s hall and other interesting halls of the museum.

Now lunch time and prepare to treat yourself to the tastiest pies ever. Time to check Egyptian fitir or pie stuffed with different sweets. There are some varieties of this pie, so you can try a plain one just with sugar, or with cream. For lovers of sweeter food, pie with different fillings such as baspusa, custard or honey can be a good choice. And to finish the day on a sweet note, let’s find an oriental fresh juice café and taste some traditional Egyptian drinks like sugar cane drink (freshly squeezed cup of pure sugar), or something less sugary like strawberry or mango juice.
