Arrival Sharm el Sheikh airport any day before Tuesday. Our English speaking rep will meet you upon arrival in Sharm el Sheikh airport with the sign "sharm-club.com". Private transfer by a/c van to your hotel. Overnight in the hotel.
Free day in Sharm el Sheikh you can spend on the beach or optional tours and activities can be arranged upon request.
In the morning pick up from your hotel and transfer by a/c van to Sharm el Sheikh International Airport to fly to Cairo. Flight to Cairo will take 50 minutes. Our English speaking guide will be waiting for you upon arrival outside the main arrival hall of Cairo airport with the sign "Sharm-club.com".
From the airport we will go to downtown where The National Egyptian Museum is situated. The building of the museum is a historical monument itself already, built more than 100 years ago by a French architect it houses the world's largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities, and many treasures of King Tutankhamen. 120 000 pieces are exhibited there and we will visit all those collections, including Old kingdom, Middle kingdom, New kingdom and king Tut Anch Amun collection. We will spend around 2,5 hours in the museum.
After the museum we will take 45 minutes Nile boat ride. We will enjoy with the sailing along the Nile, warm breeze and panoramic views of the city.
Lunch will be offered in TGI Fridays on set menu basis, but you can choose between options available.
After lunch we will continue our tour and move to one of the seven wonders of the world: the great pyramid of Cheops, which is situated on Giza Plateau! We will visit other pyramids of the area as well: the pyramid of Chephren and the pyramid of Mycerinus. We will end our tour in Pyramids area after visiting Sphinx and its valley temple.
At the end of the day we will get a chance for shopping in the area around the Pyramids. Visit of papyrus institute, perfume palace or cotton fabric will be available.
Spend a night in a cozy 4* hotel on BB basis. Optional activities such as Sound & Light show at Pyramids, Nile cruise with romantic dinner and Oriental show can be arranged upon request.
In the morning our English speaking guide will pick up you from your hotel and you will move to Alexandria. It may take up to 3 hours to reach the city as the distance between Cairo and Alexandria is 220 km.
We will start the day with visiting the only Roman amphitheater in Egypt, dating back to the second century AD, discovered by chance in 1960 by Egyptian-polish expedition in Kom el-Dekka. Then move to Pompey pillar which was constructed in honor of Diocletian in 292 AD. Crusaders gave the name to this pillar "Pompey's" because they wrongly thought that the head of Pompey was buried on the top of pillar. Originally this column was taken from a magnificent temple of Serapis. It's made of rose granite, has a Corinthian style capital and it was with its base 26,85 meters high.
Catacombs of Kom-
Shukafa these tombs were discovered by chance in Karmoz aria in 1900 after 12 years of searching. The tomb dated back to the 1st or 2nd century and consists of 4 underground floors. The 1st and the 3rd floors are completely under the water. The most significant feature of this tomb is the existence of paintings on its walls that represent the overlap of three different kinds of art Egyptian, Greek and Roman.
Lunch will be offered in a local restaurant.
Then we will visit National Museum of Alexandria which is situated in a palace of Bassil Pasha, the museum has 1,800 objects on display now.
At the end of the day transfer to Alexandria train station to catch a night sleeping train to Aswan. In the early morning our guide will meet you at Aswan train station and transfer by a/c van to Abu Simble.
Huge temples of Abu Simbel visit will take up to 2 hours. The temples of Abu Simble are situated in the Nubian territory, 280 km south of Aswan, 210 km south of Tropic of Cancer & 70 km north of the Sudan border. They were cut out of a solid rock on the west bank of the Nile in a position which receives the 1st rays of the god Ra. With time the temples were covered with sand and remained hidden until 22nd March 1813 when a Swiss explore Johann Ludwig Burkardt discovered them. However the 1st person to explore them was Italian Giovanni Battista Belzoni in 1817.
In the afternoon transfer to Luxor airport (may take up to 4 hours to reach Luxor) to catch your flight back to Sharm el Sheikh. Meet and assist in Sharm el Sheikh airport, transfer to your hotel.
