1st day in Cairo
Pick up from the hotel
Pick up from your hotel in Sharm el Sheikh, transfer by Air conditioned van or bus to Sharm el Sheikh Airport and fly to Cairo.
Meet & assist in Cairo airport
Our English speaking guide will be waiting for you outside the arrival hall of Cairo airport with the sign "Sharm-club.com" .
Visit of The National Egyptian museum
Start your day with the visiting of The National Egyptian museum where 120 000 pieces are exhibited, we will see all the collections of the museum: Old kingdom, Middle kingdom, New kingdom and king Tut Anch Amun collection.
Nile cruise with a small motor-boat
Then sail along the Nile on a small boat and watch sightseeing's of the city form the Nile.
Lunch
Have lunch in a local restaurant.
Visit of Pyramids & Sphinx
After lunch, you will move to one of the seven wonders of the world, the great pyramid of Cheops! and other pyramids of the area - the pyramid of Chephren and the pyramid of Mycerinus. You will end your tour in Pyramids area after visiting Sphinx and its temple.
Free time in Cairo in the evening (optional)
Nile Cruise & Dinner with Tanura show and belly dance on a floating hotel - 30 GBP per person.
Watch Sound & Light show at the Pyramids - 15 GBP per person.
City tour in down town - free.
Overnight in the hotel
The night you will spend in 4* hotel Oasis near the pyramids on BB basis (30 GBP per person supplement for 5* hotel).
2nd day in Alexandria
Pick up from your hotel
Pick up from your hotel in Cairo and transfer by a/c van to Alexandria along Alexandrian desert road. It will take around 2,5 hours.
Greco-Roman Museum visit
Start your day with visiting the Greco-Roman Museum with its 27 halls and a lush garden. All these offer you an excellent introduction to the Greek and Roman art of Egypt
Alexandrian library visit
Visit the largest library all over the world - the library of Alexandria. Inspired by the original library of Alexandria, which was considered one of the greatest of classical institutions the new Library is located on the same site where the old Library was built 2300 years ago within the old royal quarter of Alexandria under the Ptolemies.
Lunch
Have lunch in a local restaurant or on the fish market.
Visit of Catacombs
Catacombs of Kom-Shukafa – these tombs were discovered by chance in Karmoz aria in 1900 after 12 years of searching. The tomb dated back to the 1 st or 2 nd century and consists of 4 underground floors. The 1 st and the 3 rd floors are completely under the water. The most significant feature of this tomb is the existence of paintings on its walls that represent the overlap of three different kinds of art – Egyptian, Greek and Roman.
Roman theatre and Pompey Pillar visit
Visit the only Roman amphitheater in Egypt, dating back to the second century AD which was discovered by chance in 1960 by Egyptian-polish expedition in Kom el-Dekka.
Then move to Pompey pillar which was constructed in honor of Diocletian in 292 AD. Crusaders gave the name to this pillar “Pompey's” because they wrongly thought that the head of Pompey was buried on the top of pillar. Originally this column was taken from a magnificent temple of Serapis. It's made of rose granite, has a Corinthian style capital and it was with its base 26,85 meters high.
Fly back to Sharm el Sheikh
At the end of the day drive back to Cairo Airport, fly back to Sharm el Sheikh and then back to your hotel.
